Rubber Damper Also called Rubber dampers , shock absorbers and vibration reduction,they have wide applications . To select suitable rubber damper, firstly we need to know its property, and choose the one fit for the operation environment. The feature of rubber damper is that its shape and hardness can be designed according to specific demand, and it provides larger damping ratio than spring. Meanwhile, rubber damper has advantage of resisting shear, pull and pressure, also easy for assembly.
Rubber dampers or shock absorbers are used to reduce the transmission of shock to the surrounding structure. Shock absorption is possible as the rubber absorber deflects under the applied shock load.

This kind of rubber damper normally is rough surface with low damping effect, and easy to age. So be sure to select carefully to avoid buying such kind of rubber damper.
