Rubber gasket is now the most basic and widely used gasket. It is made of synthetic rubber that vulcanized with polymers, added fillers, pigments and various additives. Synthetic rubber has very excellent compressibility and resilience. Only need very little pre tightening force, this  rubber can play a role of effective sealing under low temperature low pressure conditions. Rubber gasket is easy to be disassembled and can achieve good sealing effect between uneven sealing surface. That is because the rubber has good expansibility and anti-penetrant efficiency. It can resist the passage of gas and fluids. Commonly used rubber gasket materials are nitrile rubber, neoprene, ethylene propylene rubber, silicone rubber, fluorine rubber and so on.  

Application of rubber gasket:

chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, chlor-alkali, acid production, phosphate fertilizer, pharmaceutical, pesticide, chemical fiber, dyeing, coking, gas, organic synthesis, food, beverage and other production and processing departments.

Equipment used: sealing parts of pipe, valve, pump, pressure vessel, heat exchanger, condenser, generator, air compressor connection.

Technical standard of rubber gasket:

ASME, DIN, JIS, GB and other standards. Round shape, square shape and other special shapes.
