Air filter hose refers to the section of rubber hose that air enters from the air inlet and passes through the air filter until it is to enter each cylinder.
Since the rubber hose is located near the engine, it needs to have the following conditions:
1.High temperature resistance: The rubber hose is directly connected to the engine cylinder head, and the temperature of the engine cylinder head can reach 130~150℃. Therefore, the hose material is required to withstand a high temperature of 180°C. Silicone rubber and fluororubber have better high temperature resistance.
2.Chemical stability: The rubber hose directly contacts gasoline and antifreeze coolant when working. Gasoline is a very strong solvent. The glycol in the coolant will also affect the performance of the plastic. Therefore, the chemical stability of the rubber hose material sexual requirements are very high, subject to rigorous testing.
3. Heat aging stability: The automotive engine is working in a very harsh environment temperature, the working temperature is reciprocating at 30~130 ℃, the material must be able to guarantee the long-term reliability of the rubber hose.
