The through-hole rubber sheath is mainly distributed at the interface between the engine and the cab, the interface between the front cabin and the cab (2 places on the left and right), the interface between the four doors (or a rear door) and the compartment, and the inlet of the fuel tank,which have the functions of grinding, waterproofing and sealing.
The through-hole rubber sheath is a kind of rubber product that refers to a circular or elliptical limiting groove at one or both ends of the component, and the middle end is a through hole of a thin elastic or corrugated section with a smaller thickness that can pass the wire harness.
The through-hole rubber sheath is fixedly clamped inside the body hole through the limiting groove, which prevents the vehicle from loosening and falling off during driving. The wall of the through hole in the middle section of the sheath for the wire harness to pass through has elasticity, so that the wire harness can open the through hole wall to easily pass through and tightly bind the wire harness, and shield and close the gap between the wire harness and the body hole. To prevent the penetration of dust and rain, the sealing performance is better.
The material of the sheath can be NR, NBR, CR, EPDM, SBR, SIL, etc. The EPDM rubber has good fireproof, waterproof, low temperature resistance, abrasion resistance and reliable sealing connection performance. It is one of the commonly used materials for rubber sheaths.
