O-ring seals are suitable for installation in a variety of mechanical equipment, which seals in specified temperature, pressure, as well as different liquid and gas medium, in the static or movement state. A large number of various types of sealing components are applied in machine tools, ships, automobiles, aerospace equipment, metallurgical machinery, chemical machinery, engineering machinery, construction machinery, mining machinery, petroleum machinery, plastic machinery, agricultural machinery, and all kinds of instruments and meters.

O-ring seals are mainly used to seal in static and reciprocating movement. And rotary motion sealing is only for low speed rotary sealing device. O-ring seal is generally installed in the outer circle or the inner circle with rectangular groove on the cross section. O-ring seal has good resistance to oil, acid and alkali, grinding, chemical erosion and other environment. It still plays an important role in sealing and shock absorption. Therefore, O-ring seal is the most widely used seal in the hydraulic and pneumatic transmission system.
